Promaks predominantly specializes on medical promotion products , in its own facility with special wrapping devices produces wooden tongue depressors within a hygienic environment at the highest standarts of Turkey.

Wooden Tongue Depressors

Wooden tongue depressors which can be produced from metal, plastic, wooden material, the most common one in our country is the import wooden tongue depressors which is made of silver birch (Betula pendula). They can be also produced & used as sterile or non-sterile.

Previously metal tongue depressors were being used by bathing them into antiseptic solutions again and again, but nowadays doctors prefer using disposable wooden tongue depressors.

The most important point in packaging wooden tongue depressors is the hygienic environment and hygiene regulations so we are re-designating the standards in Turkey.

The specialist staff whom are in charge of production are supposed to wear their antibacterial aprons, caps, oveshoes,gloves and masks lastly to comply the hygiene regulations they disinfect the foot part with the sterile doormat which is mostly used in entrance of the surgery rooms.

The machines which are used on the line of production makes the wooden tongue depressors with 200-230 heat degree in aseptic form. The quality controls are being made by specialized staff .
